What has changed?

Citkar is now part of Mubea U-Mobility

Mubea U-Mobility has acquired the Berlin-based start-up Citkar. Since then, both teams have been working together under one shared brand, combining their expertise to further develop and scale heavy-duty cargo bikes and mobility solutions for urban commercial transport.

One strong market presence

From now on, all market activities are carried out under the Mubea U-Mobility brand. Products, solutions and communication are integrated into a unified brand architecture. Citkar’s technological know-how and experience are fully embedded in Mubea U-Mobility’s portfolio.

Greater scalability, service and reach

The merger strengthens vehicle development, sales and aftersales. The joint goal is to deliver scalable vehicle solutions and to build a Europe-wide service and support infrastructure – enabling professional, reliable heavy-duty cargo bike operations on the last mile.

No, Citkar will not be continued as a standalone brand or product line. Selected technical concepts and experience gained from the development of Citkar have been integrated into the Mubea platform.
